Vec2-DVF is an applet that displays the potential of a vector field, as well as many other interesting properties. Clicking, dragging, and scrolling is usually more fun than reading all the equations. It uses Java2D to display the field lines, and it calculates a discrete curl of the field and a discrete divergence of the field. The curl is displayed in the flyout menu.
